JORDIS SIGNS TO EPIC RECORDS!

JORDIS UNGA News Rockdetector: "Rockstar finalist JORDIS UNGA has apparently, after much speculation, signed to Epic Records. Word is also out that he fast rising star is also, as rumoured, recording with the highly impressive 'House band'."

With out further speculation. As if it was bound to happen anyway. Any of these shows that have artists that are not well known eventualy become well known and make waves.

It doesnt surprise me that she has signed with Epic Records. She has the voice of an angle. Go Jordis Go!

Jordis Unga : So sad to see her go

I am somewhat sad to see Jordis go. However, I do think that this is just the start for her. Jordis Unga had a wonderful opportunity to make her skills well known. She made it this far in this which only means that she can take it further with her own style.

I hope she takes this as an open invitation to evolve even further as the Rockstar that she is.

Jordis, If you are reading this. You rock and I will forever be your fan even though you had to hear those sad words. " I'm sorry, your just not right for our band 'INXS'.".

Jordis, You are right for yourself and keep your head up.

Keep checking back all for news and updates about Jordis Unga's new found glory as a well known rocker that almost became the lead singer for the band 'INXS'.

Jordis Unga : Not a bottom 3 feeder

I am surprised that Jordis ended up in the bottom 3 this week. I thought her performance was right on.

'Jordis Unga performed "Imagine" by John Lennon every bit as well as I would have expected. This one suits her voice much better than last week's "Dream On." I think she'll do well musically, but she's not suited for INXS. She did great on this song, but her soulful voice is much more suited for ballads and soulful songs than INXS songs. Dave called it phenomenal. Kirk called it spellbinding, but wondered why she picked this week to play guitar. Jordis answered that she wanted to sit and feel the music. Jon felt she should have been in the bottom three last week (to which Jordis agreed), but she redeemed herself this week. It took a lot for him to not cry as she sang this song. '

I agree with curlio.com about her performance last week. However, I totally disagree about her not being suited for for INXS. I think Jordis just need's to find her pitch and that will be defined with what ever songs are writen.

John Lennon - Imagine Jordis as Lead singer of Inxs

What a great performance tonight by Jordis Unga! Her song John Lennon's Imagine, was sung right on key.

“spell bounding”

She has a great voice and after last weeks performance I think she needed to redeem herself.

What was up with that anyway? I was sure that she was gone. Then again I am hard to please. She is still in my top 3, but they are falling one by one.

Watching 'Rock Star: INXS'

For some of the more talented performers, the coveted prize could be a problematic career move, the musical equivalent of winning the opportunity to co-author a novel with, well, fill in the name of an author who hit it big in the mid-’80s; might not the show’s most engaging singer, Jordis Unga, have far more appeal as a solo artist? Might not the charismatic, sweetie-pie performer, Mig Ayesa, have better luck trying Hollywood than spending a hundred nights a year singing “New Sensation” and “Original Sin”? Wouldn’t the electric Marty Casey be happier working in real estate and performing his original material at nightclubs in Chicago?

Jordis is for sure a very engaging singer.

Voice of an angel

I have a good feeling about Jordis and her ability to sing. She has the voice of an angle and the stage presence of a rockstar.

I am positive that she is going to be in the top 3. My top 3 selection is Mig, Jordis, and Ty.
